XLR Industries Evolution Precision Rifle Chasis System

XLR Industries Evolution Precision Rifle Chasis System

It’s one thing to gawk at the Evolution system on XLR’s website, and another thing entirely to pull the stock out its box just a few weeks after placing the order. The first hands-on experience almost makes you wonder if there was some mistake. It’s just hard to believe you’re actually getting this much stock for this little price!

Kyle told us he “wanted to build a top quality chassis that is affordable; I believe in shooter first, business second.” It looks like they’ve accomplished their objective.

Flatline Ops ACCU Level Scope Level

“I couldn’t find a scope level that reasonably fit my needs so I decided to engineer my own”, said Chuck McCoy, owner of Flatline Ops. “our ACCU/LEVELTM is unlike competitive scope levels in that you can easily install and adjust it without the hassle of taking the scope off the rifle”.

Flatline Ops’ line of ACCU/LEVELTM scope levels include: the Hunter (for 1″ scopes), the Sniper (for 30mm scopes), and the Covert (for 34mm scopes).

Travis Haley pops smoke, leaves Magpul Dynamics

By Shooter1, 29 January, 2011, No Comment

Magpul founder Travis Haley leaves the companyTravis Haley, former Magpul heavy, left Magpul this week. I saw Travis at SHOT Show today and with him briefly today about his decision to go beyond Magpul. He expressed his desire to pursue other professional opportunities that his employment with Magpul precluded. To that end, he’s started a company called Haley Strategic Partners.

I also had a chance to talk with a few people that worked with Haley at Magpul and Magpul Dynamics. They told me that he left on good terms and you will still see him helping the Magpul team as a consultant.  They only had good things to say about his passionate, yet intellectual approach to his duties as a executive and as an instructor. They spoke about his contributions to the company in the form of some of their most popular products.  Haley added value to the Magpul product line with his extensive and efficient test and evaluations and came up with the innovative “Theory Based products” line as well.  Haley wore many hats in the Magpul family as the founder of Magpul Dynamics, the Interm CEO of Magpul Industries, and as the writer and presenter of the Randori Media training films with Chris Costa.

Please join me in wishing Travis good fortune with the next stage of his career in helping our Military, Law Enforcement, and the shooting communities.
