Recently Rob, and I went to the Chehalem Valley Sportsman Club in Dundee, Oregon to run a simple chronograph test to help see the differences in velocities between barrel lengths. We used PMC Bronze .223 55gr as our test ammunition. We like PMC bronze because it shoots consistently, and the majority of us here feel like it is the best bang for your buck.
