Immediate Action Required
Certain lots of recently manufactured 45 Auto ammunition may contain an incorrect propellant charge. Use of product from these lots may result in firearm damage and possible serious injury.
If you have in your possession any 45 Auto with the following brand names and part numbers, check to see if your ammunition package contains the above lots: American Eagle® (AE45A, AE45N1, or AE45A250), ChampionTM (WM5233), GoldMedal® (GM45B), Hi-Shok® (45C, 45D) and Federal® Personal Defense® (C45C, C45D). Bushmaster Safety Notice/Recall
Bushmaster has found a potential problem with some of their ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) rifles. A design flaw allows for potential multiple bursts of fire when the trigger is depressed. As any shooter will realize, these bursts of fire could cause severe problems in an unwanted or unexpected situation. Team Savage Takes National Title, Breaks 1,000-yard Record
This list of long-range events Team Savage has won recently is getting almost as long as the distances they shoot at.
They recently added the 2010 F T/R National Championship to that list by taking the team competition in grand fashion. Theywon both the 600 and 1,000 yard events, establishing an new 1,000-yard record of 778-21X.
Darrell Buell of Damascus, OR; John Weil of Welches, OR; Monte Milanuk of Wenatchee WA and Stan Pate of Milwaukie, OR made the trip to Sacramento, CA to represent Savage Arms. The competition featured some of the best talent and most expensive custom rifles from around the Country. But, once again, those expensive custom guns were no match for four skilled marksmen armed with stock Savage Model 12 rifles.
Tactilite T1 .50 BMG Recall
If you have a Tactilite T1 .50 BMG that has a smooth-grip, bell-shaped handle with 5/16″ (5/16-24) threading and a roller (as shown below), there is the potential for an out of battery detonation and very serious injury, up to and including death. Do not fire your weapon and contact us immediately.
